- Bangaii Cardinal – An extremely popular variety of marine fish due to their unusual and immensely striking appearance. This type of marine fish heralds from Indonesian waters and normally grow to around three to four inches in length. The Bangaii Cardinal is an endangered form of marine fish and experts are encouraging those with aquariums to breed them at home.
- Chevron Tang – One of the larger types of marine fish for aquariums which often grows to over 9 inches in left when in captivity. As such, this type of marine fish is better suited to those homeowners with larger aquariums than the average. They tend to feed on algae, so, if your aquarium has any live rock displays, this type of marine fish will be highly proficient at keeping it clean.
- Hawkfish – These marine fish are generally safe to keep in reef type aquariums but they have been known to eat shrimps and snails, so, it may be an idea to think twice about introducing them to aquariums that have these. This variety of marine fish normally like to perch around rockery, so, large aquariums with plenty of rock features would be an ideal environment for this type.
