Within a saltwater or fresh water aquarium evaporation is constantly occurring. Evaporation from a saltwater system will gradually increase the salinity of the aquarium water and create a potentially stressful situation for its inhabitants.

The new D-D top up systems are simple to use and will remove the daily chore of manual replacement of evaporated water. Each model consists of a transformer/controller which allows the system to operate safely at low voltage, a fully adjustable magnetic float switch with universal clamp and snail guard and one of three optional control devices.

Option 1. - RUW12LVP This unit is supplied complete with a low voltage top-up pump and a length of clear hose which fits into the float switch control block. The pump is placed in the freshwater reservoir and supplies water to the sump or aquarium.

Note that the maximum head on the pump is 1-1.2m for top up purposes.
