Organisms living on live rock soon die off during shipment due to loss of moisture and prolonged exposure to air. Rock-Prep combines a scrubbing bristle-head with a mild cleaning solution to remove most of the dead or decaying material near the rock surface and in shallow crevices, helping make the rock ready and safe for placement into a marine aquarium. Rock-Prep will not harm living organisms on or in the rock when used as directed.
