The fluidised reactor hangs on the side of your tank or sump and can be used for a number of applications such as aquarium phosphate removal, carbon filtration, nitrate removing resins, denitrification or even a small fluidised sand bed for low volume aquariums.

Set Up Instructions

1. Assemble hoses to top and bottom tails, placing a 1/2" valve to the bottom inlet (allowing adjustment of water flow before entering chamber).
2. Undo bottom hosetail and half fill with media.
3. Mounting bracket are provided for installation on the side of aquarium or sump.
4. Connect central hose to supply pump (recommended pump size 500-600l/hr), putting the valve in the off position.
5. Open valve slowly to the fluid media begins to ‘simmer’or ripple, and should not be lifted to the point of touching the middle disc.
