The laminate range of aquariums is made to the same standards as all Deltec Aquariums using a high quality 3 mm melamine laminate which is available in 9 standard finishes.

This material is very strong and obviously totally resistant to fresh or salt water. The joints are carefully formed to give a perfect mitre on the corners and the edges are finished with a special matching extruded section.

The cabinet is built with a metal frame which takes all of the weight of the tank and water and is fitted with adjustable feet to level the final installation.

The tank itself is available un drilled for use with an internal filter or for fresh water use however most units for marine installations are fitted with a corner overflow box and dry chamber. This allows the water to enter the sump section and the return water and any electrical leads to come up to the tank section without being visible externally.

Non Standard Sizes

Aquariums are available in any length, width or depth to fit any space or environment and will be quoted for on an individual basis.

Above 60 cm and up to 75-80 cm visible water depth the glass thickness increases in thickness especially for wider aquariums to 15 mm.

From 80-100 cm water depth the glass thickness will usually go up to 19 mm for most aquariums. This thickness of glass is very expensive but allows security and longevity.
